The gospels give us four accounts of the two thieves who were crucified next to Jesus:  Matthew 27:38-44; Mark 15:27-32; Luke 23:32-43 and John 19:18.  The pastor at my church Ross Sawyers preached his Easter sermon on this topic.  I was reminded of a sermon from one of my favorite authors- JC Ryle- on this theme as well.  As I re-read that sermon this morning, I felt compelled to write down some valuable lessons about faith, repentance and resurrection that we can learn from the story of the two thieves.  Willingness of Christ to save sinners Was ...
